We thank you for your interest in Gainsborough Financial Consultants, Inc. (GFC).  We formed GFC in 1980 because we wanted to offer our clients objective investment advice unblemished by the typical conflicts of interest that plague the big Wall Street firms. To accomplish this, we embraced a new business model: the independent advisory firm. And now this year, we proudly mark our 30th anniversary with our recently announced merger with Cooper McManus, an established wealth management firm and an independed SEC Registered Investment Advisor headquartered in Irvine, California.

 

Unlike many other registered investment advisors, we do not receive commissions on our managed accounts and we specialize in coordinating financial planning with asset management. With no sales quotas, we are free to research the best investment vehicles for your specific needs and we can devote the time needed to properly monitor them. 

 

As CFP^® professionals, we believe that successful investing must start with a sound financial plan.  You wouldn't start out on a trip across country without at least a map or a reliable GPS device.  In the same way, we think that financial planning serves as a roadmap to guide you on your journey toward financial independence.  Since we founded the firm 3 decades ago, we have maintained a strong commitment to the high ethical standards and code of professional responsibility as set forth by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards.
